Robert A. Lang - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Robert A. Lang is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lang Environmental, Inc.  Mr. Lang primarily focuses on long range financial and strategic planning. Currently, Mr. Lang is directing the company's strategic growth plan throughout the southeast U.S.

Mr. Lang brings over 35 years of construction experience to the remediation field, having spent 18 years with Bechtel Power Corporation.

During his tenure with Bechtel he was Assistant Project Manager for the $3 billion Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant in Port Gibson Mississippi. Mr. Lang was also Bechtels' Field Construction Manager for several other power plant construction projects.

Mr. Lang left Bechtel in 1986 to open an area office in Tampa for a regional environmental firm. In May 1987 he formed Lang Engineering of Florida, Inc., later renamed Lang Environmental, Inc. a Florida remediation contracting firm. For over 10 years, Robert Lang served as the company's President, directing Lang's growth into one of Florida's' leading abatement companies.

Officially assuming the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in April 2005, Mr. Lang also developed and implemented a strategic growth plan to expand the company into a regional general contractor and remediation. Through acquisition of an established regional remediation firm, Lang Environmental expanded it's hazardous materials remediation, asbestos and lead abatement services, throughout 8 states of the southeast United States.

Mr. Lang draws upon his BS in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE 0034132) and a class A General Contractor (CG-CA 23888), in the State of Florida. Mr. Lang serves as an instructor at the University of Florida Center for Training, Research and Education for Environmental Occupations (TREEO), in Gainesville, FL.

Mr. Lang is a member of The Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), and a member of the Board of Directors for Southern Commerce Bank, both located in Tampa, Florida.

Mr. Lang has 3 children, 5 grandchildren and resides in Temple Terrace, Florida.
